Tea machines: leaf-style tea brewed unmanned, four models and their specs

Green, oolong, black and herbal tea from one machine

The hard part of unmanned tea is the brewing parameters: water temperature, steep time and leaf-to-water ratio all change with the tea. The capsule format fixes those parameters inside the machine; with 14 lanes × 12 capsules = 168, one machine can carry green, oolong, black and herbal tea at the same time.

Four machine formats, one capsule system

Six of the eight categories - coffee, beverage, juice, milk tea, tea and herbal - share one hardware platform: countertop, hot, iced-hot and outdoor iced-hot. They differ in body structure, screen size, whether there is ice-making and outdoor protection, and which capsules go in. The table below gives the published specifications for all four.

The hot, iced-hot and outdoor models share the floor-standing platform; the outdoor version adds dust and rain protection and a wider temperature range. Electrical data, dimensions and IP rating follow the project configuration sheet. Prices are quoted per configuration and are not listed here.

Where a tea machine works

Offices and campuses

As many people drink tea at work as coffee, but there has never been a machine that brews leaf tea. This line fills that gap.

Chinese restaurants and tea houses

Waiting areas and the space outside private rooms are natural spots. A cup of tea after a meal fits the occasion better than coffee.

Service halls and waiting areas

People who do not drink coffee still need an option. Tea travels wider than coffee, especially with older customers.

Four questions before choosing

  1. Cold brew: iced tea is a summer staple, which needs the iced-hot model.
  2. Leaf format: capsules give consistency; brewing leaf on site has a higher ceiling but needs a person.
  3. Age profile: at sites with older customers, tea scales faster than coffee.
  4. Seasonal menus: capsule format makes SKU changes cheap, which suits seasonal rotation.

FAQ

Is the tea brewed from leaf on site
It is capsule-brewed: the capsules reproduce leaf-tea flavour. Brewing leaf on site needs a tea specialist and cleaning, which an unmanned site cannot support.
Can it serve cold brew
Yes - choose the iced-hot model (DZ-KFJX-C1) with its ice bin, which serves cold drinks in summer.
Is it the same machine as the milk tea unit
The hardware is the same capsule platform; the difference is capsule SKUs and menu setup. One machine can carry both tea and milk tea.
How many teas per machine
Fourteen lanes hold up to 14 SKUs; five to eight teas plus repeats is typical.
